Tungsten is one of the strategic metals produced from tungsten ores through sodium tungstate. The hydrometallurgical process a common technology for extracting tungstate high-grade concentrates. grade ore decreasing, and mineral processing to produce concentrate suitable becoming more difficult. It desirable develop new effectively recover complex low-grade ores. A fundamental study on pyrometallurgical wolframite was carried out thermodynamic calculations high-temperature experiments. reacted with Na2CO3 SiO2 at 1050–1200 °C then leached water obtain solution as feed traditional APT (Ammonium paratungstate). factors affecting extraction rate were investigated in air neutral atmosphere. found increase increasing Na2O content decrease addition temperature. argon higher than that wolframite.
